Serial ATA Adapter

The Logicube Serial ATA (SATA) Adapter enhances Logicube duplicators with direct access to SATA drives. Users can mix serial and parallel drives in the same session (some speed variations may occur).

The Logicube SATA Adapter is one of several Logicube accessories produced to improve the performance of our duplication systems. These include older as well as newer products like the Solitaire, Echo, OmniClones, as well as Echo Plus, Solitaire Turbo w/Keypad, the Sonix, OmniClones, etc.

	Data Transfer Rate Expected current speed is roughly 1GB/min. Current Logicube duplicators will operate at UDMA-4 speeds of roughly 2GB/min. transfers with the SATA adapter.		Data Transfer Rate Data transfer speed up to 3 GB/min. with UDMA-4 and 4 GB/min. with UDMA-5

	Operation Modes Modes of operation: UDMA-0, UDMA-4, UDMA-5, PIO-0-4 (UDMA-1,-2,-3 NOT supported).		Settings Older Logicube units must be set for UDMA-0 or PIO-Auto to successfully use the Serial ATA. Current Logicube units can use the Serial ATA adapter at UDMA-4 and above.
